How it works
How the cropping works
Every page goes through the same four checks in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server, and the crop is worked out for each page on its own.
Step 1: Read the page
Each page is opened with pdf.js inside your browser. The tool reads the text and where every piece of it sits on the page.Step 2: Find label and invoice
On Flipkart and Meesho pages the invoice starts at the “Tax Invoice” heading, so everything above it is treated as the label. Amazon invoice pages are spotted by their headings.Step 3: Measure the ink
The tool measures where printed content actually is, so barcodes and QR codes always land inside the crop. Dashed cut lines are ignored.Step 4: Copy as vector
A little padding is added, then the label area is copied into a new PDF with pdf-lib as vector content, not as a picture.
Compared with manual cropping
Why not crop labels by hand or with screenshots?
Many sellers crop shipping labels in a PDF editor or take screenshots and paste them into a document. Both work for a few orders. Both get slow and risky when you have a full day of labels.
Barcodes stay sharp
A screenshot turns the label into pixels, and a blurry barcode can fail at the courier scanner. Vector copying keeps lines crisp at any print size.No hand-drawn crop boxes
Cropping in a PDF editor means drawing the same box on every page and hoping each label sits in the same spot. Here the crop is measured per page.Smaller files
Because the label is copied as vector content instead of a high-resolution image, the output PDF usually stays small and prints quickly.Ready for your printer
Choose label-size pages for a thermal printer or four labels per A4 sheet for an office printer. The cropping is the same either way.
Output
What you get after cropping
The cropped labels can be laid out in two ways, and invoices are handled separately from the labels.
Invoices, kept apart
Invoice parts are never cropped as labels. With Crop labels on, leave them out or turn on Add invoices at the end to add them after the labels, one per A4 page, in the same order.Label-size pages
With the A4 layout off, every label gets its own page sized to the label itself. Print it at actual size (100%) on a thermal label printer.4 labels per A4
With the A4 layout on, cropped labels are placed two by two on A4 sheets with cut guides, scaled to fit without stretching.See how the 4 per A4 layout worksRemove extra white space
For Meesho labels you can crop tighter around the label content. The ink measurement still keeps the barcode and address inside.
Good to know
Warnings and limits
The cropper tells you when something could not be read. If an order number or SKU is missing on a label, the file shows a warning. Nothing is guessed or filled in.
- No OCR. Scanned or image-only PDFs can be cropped by ink, but their text cannot be read, so sorting and the summary will not know the SKU or order number.
- Known layouts. The readers were built from the publicly known Flipkart, Meesho and Amazon label formats. An unusual layout may need a fix.
- Footer text. Text you add under a label uses a standard PDF font, so Hindi letters or the ₹ sign print as “?”.
- Browser and memory. It works in current Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari. Very large batches depend on how much memory your device has.

Crop labels for each marketplace
Each marketplace lays out its PDF differently, so each has its own page with the tool preselected.

What else it does
More than a shipping label cropper
As a shipping label cropper, the tool does the main job first: it crops each shipping label PDF page down to the label. It also works as a shipping label PDF splitter. The label and the shipping label invoice on each page are split into separate parts, and you decide whether the invoices are added after the labels.
It is not a full shipping label PDF editor, and it never changes what is printed on the label. It only adds what you choose in a strip underneath: the order number, a short note and the date.
For Meesho labels, shipping label whitespace removal crops tightly around the printed content, while always keeping the barcode, QR code and address inside the crop.
Because everything runs in the browser, you can crop shipping labels online without installing software, and without uploading the files anywhere. To crop shipping label PDF files, add them to the tool at the top of this page.
